About the job
As a mechanical designer, you work with the design and development of production documentation for custom-made machines, as well as equipment and tools for Pronova’s in-house production. You will be part of a dedicated team of designers, and design is a central part of the business, which means that you have good insight into the overall picture and the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and ongoing improvements.
The work is carried out primarily in project form, and you become involved in the entire process – from the quote and sales stage to design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning.
Your main duties:
- 3D design and preparation
- Drawing up of drawings and manufacturing documentation according to applicable standards
- Development of new features
- Customer customization and further development of existing designs
- Dimensioning and selection of machine elements, components and materials
- Technical support for assembly and service
- CE conformity assessment and risk assessment

About you
We are looking for you with an engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience. You have at least three years of experience in mechanical design in 3D CAD and have worked with the development of machines, production equipment, and/or automation solutions.
As a person, you are technically curious, solution-oriented, and meticulous. You enjoy working on various tasks and have a good ability to drive projects to completion.
To succeed and thrive in your role, you need to be communicative and willing to work well with various parties, both internally with colleagues as well as externally with suppliers and customers. At Pronova, a strong team spirit is important; therefore, it goes without saying that you are collaborative and unpretentious.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English, in speaking and writing, is a requirement.
